# Používání integrovaného vývojového prostředí

Vývoj modulů plug-in pomocí nástroje [Plug-in Playground](/cs/plugins/how-to-develop-plugins/your-first-plugin/plugin-playground.md) je jednoduchý a pohodlný. Moduly plug-in však můžete vytvářet i pomocí externího integrovaného vývojového prostředí (IDE). Mezi výhody používání integrovaného vývojového prostředí patří:

* Můžete použít své preferované IDE, které může poskytovat opravu syntaktických chyb, rozšíření atd.
* Můžete spolupracovat s kolegy na vývoji modulu plug-in pro aplikaci FormIt prostřednictvím úložiště na GitHubu.
* Můžete vytvořit soukromé moduly plug-in a hostovat je na místním serveru.

### Instalace integrovaného vývojového prostředí

Bezplatným prostředím IDE, které lze bez problémů použít k vývoji modulů plug-in pro aplikaci FormIt, je [Visual Studio Code](https://code.visualstudio.com/Download) společnosti Microsoft. Klikněte na odkaz, stáhněte instalační soubor a dokončete instalaci.

V této ukázce budeme používat aplikaci Visual Studio Code, ale můžete použít svůj preferovaný editor kódu. Zkontrolujte, zda vaše integrované vývojové prostředí obsahuje terminál pro spuštění místního serveru.
