# Medir

La herramienta **Medir** se encuentra en la [barra de herramientas](/es/formit-introduction/tool-bars.md).

Puede utilizar la herramienta **Medir** para medir la geometría existente de un modelo. También puede utilizar la herramienta **Medir** para asignar cotas a la geometría.

1. Seleccione la herramienta **Medir**.
2. Seleccione dos puntos para medir la distancia entre ellos.
3. Seleccione la cara o el borde que desee ajustar, haga clic en el valor mostrado y añada un nuevo valor en el cuadro de diálogo que aparece.
