# Mesurer

L’outil **Mesurer** se trouve dans la [barre d’outils](/fr/formit-introduction/tool-bars.md).

Vous pouvez utiliser l’outil **Mesurer** pour mesurer la géométrie existante dans un modèle. Vous pouvez également utiliser l’outil **Mesurer** pour affecter des cotes à la géométrie.

1. Sélectionnez l’outil **Mesurer**.
2. Sélectionnez deux points pour mesurer la distance qui les sépare.
3. Sélectionnez une face ou une arête à ajuster, cliquez sur la valeur affichée et ajoutez une nouvelle valeur dans la boîte de dialogue qui s’affiche.
