# Medir

A ferramenta **Medir** está localizada na [barra de ferramentas](/pt-br/formit-introduction/tool-bars.md).

É possível usar a ferramenta **Medir** para medir a geometria existente em um modelo. Também é possível usar a ferramenta **Medir** para atribuir cotas à geometria.

1. Selecione a ferramenta **Medir**.
2. Selecione dois pontos para medir a distância entre eles.
3. Selecione uma face ou aresta que deseja ajustar, clique no valor exibido e adicione um novo valor na caixa de diálogo que é exibida.
